Using the 'Prevent Container Float' Property on a Free-form Container To Center or Right Justify Text

By default, all controls in a Dialog component are wrapped in a div which has the A5Container class. This class floats all elements to the left. In some cases, this will prevent you from achieving a layout that you want. For example, say you have a container, and you would like the controls in the container to be center or right justified. This video explains how you can place the controls in a free-form container and then turn off the float property of the container.

Displaying a Fade Out Message to Confirm that Record was Saved

A common pattern in web applications is to display a transient message (a 'fade out' message) to confirm that an action has taken place. This video shows how you can easily create fade out messages in your applications, and in particular how easy it is to add a 'fade out' confirmation message when a record is saved.

Adding a Row to a Repeating Section Programmatically By First Prompting for Data in a Pop-up Window

A common pattern when adding a new row to a Repeating Section in a Dialog is to first display a dialog where you can collect information from the user. Once the user has filled in all of the information, the new row is in the Repeating Section is created and the data that was collected in the pop-up window is used to populate the new Repeating Section row.

Prompting for Confirmation Before Submitting a Dialog

A common requirement in a Dialog component that submits data to the server is to prompt the user for confirmation before actually submitting the Data.
